Magnetic Stripes & Encoding

Our TITO Ticket packs are individually shrink-wrapped, keeping them safe from dust, humidity and in-transit mishaps

Data can be encrypted on a two or three track system (1/2 in. or 3/8 in.) located on the magnetic stripe. Coordinate your encoding system with:

  • High Coercivity (HiCo): Highest resistance to accidental erasure. Made in both 2750oe and 4000oe versions, this tape is commonly used with cards that require a longer life and more frequent swiping, such as Credit and Access Control Cards.
  • Low Coercivity (LoCo): Lowest resistance to accidental erasure. Encoded with a low intensity magnetic field, made in 300oe version, this is commonly found in gift cards or other short term use cards.
  • Medium Coercivity (MedCo): Intermediate resistance to accidental erasure. Made in 650oe version, this tape is commonly found in hotel cards.

Barcoding & Sequential Numbering

  • Barcoding is a reliable and useful utility that often makes this a featured technology of choice. Combined with other security and tracing features, a barcode can be extremely versatile.
  • Sequential numbering, easily read by the human eye, can be placed in any position.

Contactless & Proximity Cards

  • Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) cards can be used for transmitting information to expedite consumer transactions. RFID can eliminate the need for a magnetic stripe, signing a receipt or handing a card to another person.
  • Graphic Controls specializes in Hotel RFID Key Cards and turnstyle-less Amusement Card Ticketing.
